This Privacy Policy explains how AdSource ("AdSource," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and dashboard at adsource.io (the "Service").
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text). If you sign up or log in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
Ad platform connections. When you connect a Meta, Google, or TikTok ad account, we request only the access needed to create, publish, and report on campaigns on your behalf. We never receive your ad platform password, and we don't access anything on those accounts beyond advertising functionality.
Business information. To generate ad copy, images, and targeting that match your brand, we collect information you provide about your business, such as your website URL, product details, and brand preferences.
Usage data. We collect basic technical data (like browser type, device, and pages visited) to keep the Service reliable and to understand how it's used.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To generate ad copy, creative, and targeting suggestions using AI, based on the business information you provide
- To publish and manage campaigns in your connected ad accounts, only with your authorization
- To send account, billing, and service-related emails
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). When you connect an ad account, Meta, Google, or TikTok act as independent data controllers for the advertising data on their platforms, governed by their own privacy policies. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and disconnect any linked ad accounts within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain records to comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us directly. You can also disconnect any ad platform at any time, which immediately revokes our access to that account.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the Service.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls on our database, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using accepted industry standards.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect.
